My Story
Motherhood didn’t come easy for me.
After experiencing multiple miscarriages, a traumatic birth, and postpartum depression, I found myself in a place I never expected—feeling deeply alone… even as a trained mental health professional.
And that was the hardest part.
Knowing the tools, yet still struggling to find the support I needed.
But everything changed when I finally received the help I deserved.
That experience became the turning point—not just in my healing, but in my purpose.
Today, I combine my personal journey with my professional training to support parents in a more meaningful, hands-on way.
Through therapy and parent coaching, I help families feel more confident, more connected, and more supported—so they can truly enjoy their parenting journey.
My Work & Experience
For over 15+ years, I’ve supported children, parents, and families through both clinical work and real-world application.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State Long Beach and a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Oaks College, with a specialization in Latina/Latino Family Studies.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in community mental health settings supporting high-risk clients and families navigating complex challenges.
Today, I also serve as a Mental Health Consultant for Head Start programs, where I partner with educators and families in early childhood settings. My work includes:
- Psychotherapy and parent support
- Child behavior observations
- Parent workshops and teacher trainings
- Classroom and behavioral consultations
This unique blend of clinical expertise and hands-on experience allows me to support both families and educators in creating environments where children—and the adults raising them—can truly thrive.
Real-life Clinical Performance
Not just theory – real support that works in everyday parenting.
Emotional Behavioral Understanding
Helping you understand your child, not just manage them.
Safe, judgment-Free Space
Support that feels like a partnership, not pressure.
I bridge clinical expertise with real-life parenting.
- Having movie nights with my son (popcorn + pizza = non-negotiable)
- Sipping coffee with a good book
- Recharging at the gym
- Enjoying slow Sundays with my family
